Media Center Renovation

The Sanderson Media Center offers more than just books to borrow. As a central learning and meeting space trying to be all things to a growing community, the Media Center sees daily traffic from students, faculty and parents looking to study, plan and convene. It’s also the first space prospective families see for Sanderson tours, providing a first impression of the school. 

But the Media Center is in desperate need of updates. An initial renovation phase for the 7,603 sq. ft. space is underway, but the full plan requires significant investment to complete the vision of an inviting, warm space with state-of-the art infrastructure and technology.

The Sanderson district is experiencing tremendous growth, with young families moving into the assigned neighborhoods. The Foundation is committed to helping the school with recruitment, which begins with a welcoming space and an introduction to the power of the Sanderson community. With a wealth of school options in the area, from magnet, charter and private school choices, it’s critical to have our Media Center be a positive reflection of the school.
